Ms. Carolyn Feher started her ballet training at Londonderry Dance Academy when she was five years old. She studied the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus for twelve years, passing her first ballet exam when she was six and passing the Advanced I and II levels by the time she was eighteen. She participated several times in the American Academy of Ballet Performance Awards, and earned a gold medal with distinction in Level 12. Her love of dance has brought her to summer intensives in England and the Czech Republic, as well as workshops in New York City and the American College Dance Festival in California.
After moving to Hawaii in 2005, Ms. Feher has enjoyed performing with Hawaii Opera Theatre, Hawaii Ballet Theatre, the Onium Ballet Project, and the University of Hawaii, as well as teaching at Punahou Dance School, The Movement Center, The Dance Space and Hawaii Academy. In 2010, she graduated from the University of Hawaii with a BFA in Dance Theatre and a BBA in Marketing.
Ms. Feher currently teaches the Saturday afternoon Prima and Explore Ballet classes as well as the Sunday Intro to Ballet Technique and Prima classes.
